Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars (XB)

In a unique approach to games, this title can best be described as Road Rash set in Roman times, using a Chariot instead of a Motorcycle. It mixes racing and melee combat genres. There are warrior races to choose from such as Amazon, Greek, African and of course Roman. The game gives you the ability to personalize your experience by letting you mix and match drivers chariots, horses and gear from all ethnicities. One really cool aspect in this game is that you get to control both your vehicle steering and speed AND the drivers melee attacks as one player or in multiplayer one person can drive the other can fight in co-op mode (similar to Halo's popular co-op mode) This game also boasts some awesome scenery and authentically reproduced landmarks and temples (such as the coliseum -- of course!) Ram opponents in to rocks or knock them over cliffs or beat them into submission -- the choice is yours!
