When a man walks into a hospital and offers a doctor $250,000 to amputate a perfectly healthy leg, reporter Isaac Knott (Nick Stahl) becomes intrigued. Knott, who lost the use of his legs in a childhood car accident, fi nds his professional interest turns into personal business. Fiona (Vera Farmiga), a mysterious and sexy informant, offers him an odd exclusive: an introduction to the disturbing new subculture.
