A smooth-talking writer (Larenz Tate) and a sharp-eyed photographer (Nia Long) explore their mutual attraction in this tale set in hip Chicago settings and layered with the emotional uplift and rocky shoals of a new relationship. A player could get played when he crosses A Thin Line Between Love & Hate (Side B). Martin Lawrence plays a womanizer who persistently woos and finally wins the love of a savvy businesswoman (Lynn Whitfield). But when he decides its time to move on, her fierce countermove is something he didnt anticipate. One way or another, she always gets her man.
