In the great tradition of John Cassavetes’ and Robert Altman’s acutely observed personal films comes A QUIET LITTLE MARRIAGE, a stunning directorial debut that brings a new level of intimacy to the screen. The future looks bright for a young and attractive Los Angeles couple, but beneath the surface of their wonderful life is a tangle of secrets, lies and pain. Olive (Mary Elizabeth Ellis, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Dax (Cy Carter, Starship Troopers 2) have a great sex life, supportive friends and fulfilling jobs, but each bears a heavy burden: Olive’s beloved father (Michael O’Neill, Green Zone) is slipping into the abyss of Alzheimer’s disease, and Dax’s substance-abusing brother (Jimmi Simpson, Date Night, The Invention of Lying) is a constant financial and emotional drain on him.
