In this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, Frank (Trevor Lissauer, TV's Sabrina the Teenage Witch) is an angst-ridden, young man who desperately wants to marry his girlfriend, Darlene (Jill Crenshaw, Heaven Strewn), against the wishes of her imposing father (Michael Madsen, Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Donnie Brasco, Reservoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise).

When Frank inherits $10,000, he decides to propose ... Unfortunately, he spends it all to buy a ring from Ted (Brien Perry, ABC's General Hospital), a con artist with a slick pitch. Darlene's parents spot the diamond as a worthless fake and encourage her to break off the engagement.

To save his relationship, Frank sets out to confront Ted, get back his money and prove his love. But now, Frank's lawyer, criminal investigators (Daniel Roebuck, U.S. Marshals, The Fugitive & Deirdre Lovejoy, Bad Teacher, HBO's The Wire), the mob and even the pizza boy are involved in the action!
