"Brotherly Love" follows the nation's number one high school basketball player, Sergio Taylor (played by Eric D. Hill Jr.), as he deals with the early pressures of inner-city glory and being a star athlete. Taylor's older brother June (played by Cory Hardrict)has basketball dreams of his own, but these dreams are deferred by the death of their father and he resorts to the allure of the streets to fill the financial void in the home and for his mom (played by Macy Gray). Their sister Jackie (played by KeKe Palmer) is the princess of the family, who possess strong ambitions to pursue a musical career but is suddenly side tracked by an unexpected encounter with her forbidden teenage love, Chris (played by Quincy Brown). Chris is from the Hill and off-limits to Jackie. June is determined to lead his family to greatness and allow no one to stand in the way.
