Lainie Wheeler is finally getting her life back. She has completed reham, stared a job assisting the poducer of a television show, and has begun rebuilding relationships with her daughters who were placed in foster care. After completing her first day on the job, her car breaks down, and the guest star of the show, baseball player Harry Brewer, assists her. As Lainie soon discovers, helping her isn't his plan...and she finds herself fighting for her life!
