In CHARLIE CHAN IN PARIS, the renowned detective Charlie Chan (Warner Oland) is summoned to Paris by an undercover agent to investigate a gang of international counterfeiters who are operating out of the sewers of the City of Lights. However, the agent, a dancer named Nardi, is murdered before Chan can learn much about the mission. The story introduces Charlie's "Number One Son," Lee Chan (Keye Luke), who frustrates Charlie by trying to solve the puzzle ahead of him. CHARLIE CHAN IN PARIS was directed by Lewis Seiler.
