I Dream of Jeannie

An astronaut frees an imprisoned genie who gratefully moves in with him. Her magic is troublesome but inevitably helps him gain a fiancee and the leadership of a Mars mission, both of which will separate him from the genie, who loses her magic out of sorrow.

Only if the astronaut can be convinced that the genie is the one for him will everything be put right.
