Angelina Jolie Done Raiding Tombs?

In surprising news today, rumors are circulating that Angelina Jolie has decided to give up the Lara Croft character and not appear in Tomb Raider 2, the sequel to the videogame turned movie Tomb Raider. Speculation on the abrupt decision ranges from a distaste of the character despite reports to the contrary to her and husband Billy Bob Thornton's upcoming second adoption of a Cambodian child.

In a related rumor, word has it that if Jolie does decide to give up the Lara Croft character, Paramunt has chosen relative newcomer Kelly Brook to take over the reins. Brook, a native Brit, has gotten US recognition of late from her role as Victoria Hardwick on the TV show "Smallville."
