Tom Hanks To Get Lifetime Achievement Award

His career has been full of many green miles and Tom Hanks is getting yet more recognition for his wonderful talents and contributions to the entertainment world.

The American Film Institute will honor Tom with the 30th Lifetime Achievement Award at an awards ceremony on June 12th and fans can watch it themselves on June 24th. His good friend and director Steven Spielberg will present Tom with this honor.

Tom is a five-time Oscar nominee, winning twice for Philadelphia and Forrest Gump.
