More 'Big Fat Greek Wedding' Goodness?

It's quite rare when a movie comes from out of nowhere to take Hollywood by storm. And it's even rarer when it's an independent romantic comedy. Sure, The Blair Witch Project pulled off the same feat that My Big Fat Greek Wedding is currently enjoying, but it was unique and a horror movie. The horror genre has produced many big hits with unknown casts, but it usually takes a star-studded cast (ala My Best Friend's Wedding) to bring in the big bucks for a romantic comedy.

So, it shouldn't surprise you in the least the Hollywood's latest tart de jour Nia Vardalos is busy prepping a sequel to My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The idea that's getting the most raves follows the newlyweds on their honeymoon to Greece. Can't wait for the sequel? Don't worry, word has it that CBS is fast-tracking a comedy TV show entitled 'My Big Loud Greek Family.'

Personally, I think the Wayans need to step in and do 'My Big Fat Geek Wedding' as soon as possible...
