Search For The Man Of Steel Continues

There was a glimmer of hope in Krypton this week when it was leaked in Hollywood that Josh Hartnett was close to accepting the role of Superman for director Brett Ratner. But alas, those rumors fell apart faster than a speeding bullet.

Hartnett did succumb to a screen test after months of negotiations, but ultimately, he balked at the three picture requirement for the role. New front-runners include Brendan Fraser, Paul Walker and relative newcomer Matthew Bomer, who is steaming up TV sets on the daytime soaps Guiding Light and All My Children.
