Tank sues 'The Matrix'

And in today's daily Matrix update, we get at least one question answered from The Matrix Reloaded. Actor Marcus Chong, who plays Tank in the original movie and survives the bloodshed, has filed a lawsuit against the Wachowski brothers and Warner Bros. for breach of contract and slander.

According to the lawsuit, Marcus was set to bring Tank back for The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions when he was unexplicably written out of the scripts, replaced by a new character named Link. Additionally, Chong, the adopted son of Tommy Chong, claims that the studio spread slanderous lies about him throughout Hollywood, making it difficult for him to secure work.

Chong is seeking an unspecified amount of direct and indirect damages in excess of the $500,000 he would have made acting in the two movies. Well, that's one secret of The Matrix we can lay to rest.
