Move over Tom Green, make room for 'Gigli'

It appears that not even a well-placed, high-profile interview with Ben and Jen on "Dateline NBC" this past week will save Gigli from the critics' chopping block. The movie, which doesn't debut in theaters until next weekend (August 1), is already receiving some of the worst reviews ever.

One critic even conjures up images of the all-time bomb Freddy Got Fingered when he called Gigli "the worst film ever." Even early reviews on Ain't It Cool News call the film "disasterous (sic)" and "unreleasable (sic)."

This movie has had its fair share of problems from name changes to last minute re-shoots, but it continues to be a curiosity piece in that this is the movie where Uber Hollywood couple Ben and Jen met. Unfortunately, from the sound of it, sparks hadn't started to fly yet between the two. For that chapter, we'll have to wait until February, when their second movie, Jersey Girl opens.
