MTV announces 2004 Movie Award nominations

On June 10th, MTV will air the 2004 MTV Movie Awards. The show, best known for its interesting categories such as Best Kiss and Best On-Screen Team, allows viewers of MTV and MTV2 to pick the winners that will receive their coveted golden popcorn statuettes.

Pirates of the Caribbean led all nominess with six nods. 50 First Dates and X2: X-Men United tied for second with four nominations each.

The awards will be given out on June 5th and shown on tape delay by the hosting channel on June 10th.
