ER doctor gets hot for 'Elektra'

It looks like Elektra is shaping up to be a modern day version of 'Battle of the Network Stars.' ER's Goran Visnjic has signed on to play the play the male lead in the Daredevil spin-off.

Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as the assassin Elektra Natchios. In the new movie, she is fired to kill Goran's character, but ends up falling in love with him instead.

Production is set to begin in May and Elektra is penciled in for a February 18, 2005 theatrical release. Goran Visnjic can currently be seen in Close Your Eyes.
