Update: Marlon Brando Out Of 'Scary Movie 2'

Well, it looks like the pneumonia that sidelined actor Marlon Brando will, indeed, keep him out of Scary Movie 2 after all. It was reported that Brando had accepted $2 million for a cameo of him performing an exorcism at the beginning of the horror parody sequel.

Late last week, Brando was hospitalized for pneumonia and, at first, it was thought that they could film his scenes after he felt better. This latest announcement is sure to upset some who were looking forward to seeing the formidable Brando try his hand at comedy. Of course, it also just saved the studio $2 million.
