Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore is planning a sequel to his award-winning documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 that he hopes to have ready in 2 to 3 years. Fahrenheit 9/11 1/2 will start with the fall out of the 2004 Presidential election, including voting discrepancies in Ohio and Florida and track President Bush’s record in his second term, especially in regards to Iraq and terrorism.
“The official mourning period is over today and there is a silver lining: George W. Bush is prohibited by law from running again,” reasoned Moore. Fahrenheit 9/11 won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in May and became the first documentary to top $100 million in North American box office receipts.
