Jean Reno breaking 'The Da Vinci Code'

Jean Reno is inked to appear with Tom Hanks in the adaptation of Dan Brown's New York Times Bestseller The Da Vinci Code. Reno will play French detective Bezu Fache, who is called in to investigate the murder that sets the action of story into motion.

Tom Hanks will play Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who gets caught up in the murder plot and the quest to break Da Vinci's Code. Ron Howard is set to direct the movie which is aiming for a May 19, 2006 release.
