Brad Pitt finds way to avoid marriage

You have to give Brad Pitt credit. He sure is a smooth talker and knows how to avoid the altar.

Brad offered up the following when pressed by Equire magazine recently as to when he and Angelina Jolie might get married. "Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able."

While that eloquent excuse might not work with your average, marriage-obsessed mother of your child, it probably strikes the right chord with the socially conscious Jolie.

Angelina is the world's leading authority on world wide adoption and is a strong proponent for civil liberties for everyone regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation.

As for Brad, he might want to pass along his new excuse to bud and eternal bachelor George Clooney.
