Natalie Portman is ready for her close up, Mr. DeMille

Most celebrities are wary of their stalkers, Natalie Portman plans to embrace them and give them what they want. According to ValleyWag.com, Portman is shopping around the idea of filming her life 24/7 and broadcasting it live over the Internet.

If you think this idea sounds awfully familiar you're probably thinking of EDtv or The Truman Show. While these fictional "life under a microscope" stories didn't end well, there's a real life equivalent currently underway and generating huge buzz on the Internet.

Unfortunately, Justin from Justin.tv is an unknown and eventually the novelty of what he's doing will eventually wear off and we'll be left with just another e-celeb searching for another 5 minutes of fame. With Natalie Portman, there would be genuine interest from a wide range of people from fans to Hollywood junkies looking for the ultimate ringside seat to the inner workings of Hollywood.

Of course, with that sort of access 24/7, you would think that for a celebrity that might create more problems than anything. It's an interesting concept and who knows, it might be the next wave in reality TV.
