He just became a married man on 'Friends' but Matthew Perry is set to make the vows for real.

The Whole Nine Yards star has proposed over-and-over to his girlfriend, television executive Jamie Tarses, but she has said no until now...but with one stipulation. Clean and sober.

Matt gave his love a four-carat diamond engagement ring and she is keeping it "in a safe place" until he proves himself and his priorities.
