New photos from 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'

I am a huge Indiana Jones fan. I am one of those fanboys who believe Steven Spielberg and George Lucas can do no wrong. These men are my gods.

With that in mind, let me say that I'm getting a little tired of the Crystal Skull hype machine. I really don't care that they've released new photos from the movie. I just want to see the freaking movie.

But if you are the type that hangs on all the Indy details, here are some new pics. (Don't be deterred. Truth be told, I pored over these new photos.) You might also want to know that the running time for the flick is a scant 127 minutes, not 140 minutes as previously rumored.

For me, May 22 just can't get here soon enough. That's the release date for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

There will be a little bit of salvation on May 13 when the first three movies are released as single DVDs for the first time. Oh, and the third volume of episodes from the Young Indiana Jones TV series arrives on DVD tomorrow.
