Paramount releases 'Star Trek' stills

So, apparently there's this little movie coming out next year set in space or something.

If you couldn't guess, I'm not a trekker, or a trekkie for that matter. Heck, I even did a stint working for Paramount and I still can't tell you what a quibble is, but my dog sure loves to tear them apart.

But, I do love me some J.J. Abrams and for that matter alone I will take my life into my own hands and join the rest of Trek Nation at the local megaplex opening weekend.

Perhaps they knew about my apathy to Star Trek, or underestimated our reach, but Paramount recently "leaked" exclusive pictures from the upcoming movie to a few select websites (MTV Movies Blog, Ugo, AICN, IGN, JoBlo, and TrekMovie) and I present them below for your enjoyment.

I will say that these pictures are pretty cool and do raise my excitement meter a notch. What about you?
