OK, I'll admit it from the outset. This is one of those posts that will only appeal to stats nerds like myself. Well, it might also be of interest to those who interested in the inner workings of our site.

Just like the Yahoos and Googles of the world, we've tabulated the most popular people, movies and blog posts on our site for the year. It's our own little zeitgeist for 2009.

Thanks to everyone for a great year in 2009. We have lots in store for 2010 and hope you'll stick with us! Best wishes for the new year!
