Funnymen Simon Pegg and Nick Frost take on C-3PO and R2-D2

The following clip proves one thing is true. Everything is better with Pegg and Frost. Even Star Wars.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are the British duo best known for comedies Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz. Their latest pairing, Paul, arrives in theaters on Friday.

These on-screen buddies tackle another set of famous film pals, C-3PO and R2-D2, in a shot-for-shot remake of a classic Star Wars scene. Instead of fancy costumes, they Swede it Be Kind, Rewind-style with painted helmets and cardboard chest plates. Quite the modern-day Laurel and Hardy, aren't they?

Somebody, preferably these two, needs to re-do the entire Star Wars trilogy like this with actual dialogue for R2-D2 and Chewbacca.
