Let's be honest here, who among you actually thought that the idea of Woody Harrelson playing a magician who, along with his crew called the Four Horsemen, rob their unwitting volunteers during a magic act was a good idea? Liars!

While the idea of combining a heist film with a magic show is intriguing, I wasn't too keen on the idea of Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg spear-heading the effort. Let's be honest, they aren't exactly what you conjure up when you think of the glitz and glamor of Vegas magicians.

David Copperfield they are not. They aren't even Penn Jillette.

And yet, after this first look of Now You See Me, Summit has immediately pulled me into their magical web. Maybe I'm just a sucker for magician movies as I list The Prestige in my all-time top 10 movies.

Speaking of the Christopher Nolan film, is it just me or does this trailer hint at more homages to Nolan, other than the obvious like including Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman among its cast? Don't believe me, watch the trailer for The Prestige first.

Now, enter the world of Now You See Me, which combines the illusion of The Prestige with the visual world of Nolan Batman films.

Yeah, I think I'll have to see that when it hits theaters on June 7, 2013.
