It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games, whether it be the books or the highly successful film franchise. So, it goes without saying that I was as giddy as a school girl this morning when the first look at the concluding chapters of the franchise debuted.

A new website, TheHungerGamesExclusive.com, was launched and it seems that the filmmakers will use this site going forward to drop new and exclusive information about The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (and presumably Part 2). Today's installment, dubbed "Series 01," focuses on the first look at Julianne Moore's President Coin.

For those who haven't read the books, President Coin is the leader of the revolution against the Capitol and she features prominently in the final book/two films. My first impression is that Julianne Moore nailed it. Not only in looks as you can see blow, but also in the way that carries herself as you can ascertain from the following video.

They also released a set of six photos from the film or behind the scenes and you can see three of them below. The rest can be seen here.

Up first is a promotional shot of Moore in character as President Coin.

This one brings a tear to my eye. Knowing that these two films will mostly likely be the final two Philip Seymour Hoffman films to be released. His role is so pivotal to the plot of the films, that I was quite happy to hear they were not recasting the part after Philip Seymour Hoffman died earlier this year.

Finally, this shot of Woody Harrelson is so serious and somber that it literally brings chills to my spine.

They also share the motion poster which has become a sort of Hunger Games tradition.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 hits theaters on November 21 and it looks to build upon the last year's top grossing film of the year, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
