Expanded 'Sin City 2' red-band trailer full of sex & violence

It's been nearly a week since SDCC got started and it wrapped this past Sunday, but we are still getting some great tidbits. What was an exclusive to attendees last week is now leaking out to the mainstream and we are eating it up.

Based on Frank Miller's Sin City comic book series, the Sin City films have been unique in their visual style that is very consistent and reminiscent of the books they are based on. Of course after watching the latest red-band trailer that debuted at Comic-Con, it's pretty apparent why they had to keep the comic style in tact.

I remember watching the first film and enjoying the style, but it's really put on display here as the violence and sex is ramped up. The sparse use of color is a great stylistic touch and really helps to make the film memorable.

Of course, what do you care what I say? All you want to see is the trailer, so I'll step aside and let the trailer speak for yourself. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hits theaters on August 22.
