'Billy' To Lie One More Time

In this age of re-makes, nothing is sacred - not even award-winning British comedies. Plans are underway to remake Billy Liar, a 1963 comedy that was recently honored as one of the best 100 British films of all time.

The new Billy Liar hasn't been cast yet, but it supposedly will follow the same story arcs as the original. In the original movie, a man gets bored with life and decides to spice it up by lying. He eventually becomes very good at it and at one point juggles three fiancees. Eventually, he falls in love with his true soul mate and must come to grips with a life without lying.
