So, there was this little football game last night, you all may have heard about it. Well, during this football game, they showed some killer commercials for upcoming films. I realize that commercials during the Super Bowl are boring and just an excuse to go to the bathroom and/or refill your plates and cups, but there were a couple of reasons to watch them last night.

Who am I kidding? We all know that the ONLY reason to watch the Super Bowl is for the commercials and while there were some highlights (Snickers Brady Bunch, Invisible Mindy Kaling), the commercials were mostly misses. Seriously, how many times do we have to see lost puppies or tear-jerking Dad commercials?

Thankfully, there were plenty of spots for upcoming films to keep the movie aficionados among us content for a few more weeks. Naturally, the synergy from having the game telecast on NBC meant that we would see a bunch of Universal films advertised and they didn't disappoint, leading the way with five commercials.

I enjoyed the extended new look at Jurassic World and I really think this one is set to spark another dinosaur revolution this Summer. We also finally saw the "perfect spiral" spot from Ted 2 that we heard about in detail in December and it was as hilarious as our imagination thought it might be.

Yet again, I was scratching my head at the spot from Terminator: Genisys. I get what they are trying to do, but it's a very risky proposition, you know, sort of like throwing a pass from the one yard line in the waning seconds of a Super Bowl, but I digress.

If you missed any of the spots, I tried my best to curate them all below. Let us know below what you thought of them and if I missed any. If you missed any of the Super Bowl ads (movie or otherwise), you check them all out on YouTube.
