Is There A New 'Cannonball Run' In The Works?

Various sources on the Web are reporting that Hollywood is planning on remaking Cannonball Run, starring Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley in the roles of bickering lovers.

Burt Reynolds would also cameo in the remake along with Tim Allen and Pamela Anderson.
