No Spoilers: 'Star Wars' week is massive

I will enter a theater to experience the Star Wars marathon in a little over 9 hours. You may have noticed that Tim and I have gone dark with social media over the last few days with the hope that we can stay relatively spoiler free on The Force Awakens.

I'm not going to lie, it has been really difficult for me. The last couple of days without social media has probably been rougher than sitting in a movie theater for 20 hours will be tomorrow. For those that want to play along, I will be live-tweeting the event on Twitter feed. Don't worry, we will never post spoilers on The Force Awakens there, but I will certainly post my thoughts about seeing the original six films back on the big screen as well as my immediate, non-spoilery reaction to the new film, sometime tomorrow around midnight.

Just how big with The Force Awakens be? Well, if advance ticket sales are any indication, it's going to be massive. I sat in on a meeting with Universal this week (the own Fandango) and while they wouldn't divulge specific numbers, they acknowledged that The Force Awakens was selling through the roof. Today, it was finally reported that they have sold over $100 million in presales. Yeah, that's officially massive.

Here are some quick bits from the last couple of days.

What if Revenge of the Sith were actually good?

Jimmy Fallon got a bunch of the castmembers together for an a cappella sing-along.

If you want to see and learn about the Battle of Jakku without playing the Battlefront video game, this video does a nice job of filling you in.
