'Freddy Vs. Jason' Finally Gets Green Light

The long-awaited showdown of slasher film baddies is finally going to go down. New Line has approved a script and given Freddy Vs. Jason the proverbial green light to move forward.

Speculation was brewing that New Line was dragging its feet to see how the public react to Jason X, but this latest announcement is good news for horror fans everywhere. Robert Englund is set to reprise Freddy, while Kane Hodder will once don the famed hockey mask.
