James Gandolfini Gets Sued

In HBO world, no one would even consider taking Tony Soprano to court but this is the real world and Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke are taking fellow actor James Gandolfini to court for $260,000.

Jimmy agreed to buy the couple's home in Greenwich Village, dropping a $260,000 deposit for the $3.9 million brownstone in the trendy New York neighborhood. But when he was denied permission to renovate, the Sopranos star pulled out of the deal. He claims Uma and Ethan did not provide the paperwork required for renovation permission. They disagree and delivered a lawsuit.

A friend of all three says, "These three used to be friends. Now James is livid."
