He Can Fight, But Can He Diet?

That was the question producer Joel Silver asked actor Steven Seagal before he cast him for the cop action movie Exit Wounds. Silver told the martial arts star to lose weight, cut his hair and change his clothes. After Steven started his training routine Silver was happy to report, "He's not fat and he's not wearing any Navajo blankets." It must have worked, as Exit Wounds landed the number one spot on the box office charts during it's opening weekend (March 16th). Maybe this will get Steven back in his old groove, as early martial arts movies like Marked For Death and Hard To Kill made him a big Hollywood sex symbol.
