Hunt For 'Fargo' Loot Ends Tragically

Takako Konishi was lookng for the modern day equivalent of the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, but her quest ended on a sad note when a Minnesotan hunter found her body in the woods this past week. Konishi was obsessed with the movie Fargo and she came to America from Japan to seek out the buried loot from the movie.

While Fargo is based on true events, the Coen brothers have readily admitted that they took certain liberties in the filmmaking process. In the movie, one of the main characters buries a small fortune in a rural snowdrift before meeting his untimely end at the hands of a hungry wood chipper.

While the exact cause of death hasn't been determined yet, it's being speculated that she either died from an overdose of prescription medication or from exposure to the harsh elements.
