PETA Is Purring Over Naked Celebrity Advertising

The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) let the word out that Britney Spears, a one-time enemy of the organization, had agreed to advertise for them...naked. Of course, the wholesome pop-star denies every word and her publicists are "fuming." She won't be appearing in any campaign now.

This is not the first time PETA has ruffled Britney's feathers. They openly objected to her stage performance at the MTV Awards as she played with snakes and caged cheetahs on stage.

PETA's latest ad campaign, "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur," will boast several big-name beauties, all sporting next-to-nothing, but OOPS, Britney will not be one of them. But you can see the likes of Pamela Anderson, Kim Basinger, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Melissa Etheridge on the picture pages.

Most recently, vixen Dominique Swain posed with for the campaign and the posters were supposed to be displayed at a Los Angeles high school, until the superintendent caught wind of the actual ad content...little Lolita standing nearly naked in front of a chalkboard writing the slogan over and over.
