Jennifer Aniston always plays the good girl, from her role on the award-winning sitcom ‘Friends’ to her movies characters in She’s The One and The Object Of My Affection. This time around, she’s the star in “The Good Girl,” but how good is she really?

The movie takes place in Texas and Jennifer is married to burn-out bum-of-a-husband, working in a job she hates. The only thing that keeps her behind the make-up counter is her unexpected affair with a younger colleague, Holden (played by Jake Gyllenhaal). She’s not proud of herself for her affair but it all seem s to be justified until her husband’s best friend finds out about the affair.

This flick is far from the laughing lines we’re used to seeing her spout off. ‘The Good Girl’ puts Jennifer is some “tense and at times harsh scenes” with her husband, Phil.

Jennifer is excited about this independent film and can’t wait to continue her work in the independent industry. “There are only so many ways you can play a romantic comedy…but they’re not interesting,” she said.

This may be one time the good girl doesn’t finish last…
