'Friends' Last Season

It's been rumored to be true. It's been denied. But the truth is, no one knows what will happen to those six best buddies who seem to have nothing to do but hang out. Maybe that's what they want to do in real life but a little $1 million per episode offer may be just what they needed to find the energy for another season.

All of the stars already said no thanks to the studio's $800,000 per show offer so they've upped the ante. It might not be a money issue at all. With newlyweds Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox-Arquette both talking about wanting to start a family, real life may win this battle regardless of the cash offers.

So the gang is either holding out or will say good-bye. But until an announcement is made, Jennifer, Courtney, Matt, Lisa, David and Matthew will keep on denying anything and smiling for the cameras.
