Ewan McGregor Slams The Academy For Baz

Moulin Rouge will start the night of March 24th with eight nominations, including Art Direction, Cinematography and Best Actress, but Best Directing is not on the list and Ewan McGregor is a bit confused.

"Did the film direct itself, you wonder? Baz Luhrmann put five years of his passion into that film," Ewan spouted.

Ewan, who isn't afraid to tell Tinseltown what's on his mind, loved working for Baz but won't be taking his role again when Baz puts Moulin Rouge on Broadway. "You never go back to a part again," the star believes.
