Russell Should Know Better

Steve Martin's hosting performance at the Oscar's last week was wonderful. His witty comments gave some big laughs and others a big ouch. Perhaps one of the most memorable roasts of the evening came at Russell Crowe's expense, "Ellen Burstyn gained 20 pounds and aged 30 years for her role and Russell Crowe still hit on her."

The Mystery, Alaska star showed the cameras a not-so-happy face and later told reporters he wanted an apology from the comedian.

It's not like Steve Martin was making a huge revelation. Russell is the newest ladies' man of Hollywood and he confirmed it when he was once asked about marriage, "Marriage? I think I'd be a disaster."

Lighten up Crowe.
