Sean Penn Most Likely An Oscar No-Show

It won't be the first time actor Sean Penn has checked 'will not attend' on his little Academy Awards card.

According to his wife, Robin Wright Penn, he won't be in the audience this year either, even though he is nominated for Best Actor for his role in I Am Sam, co-starring Michelle Pfeiffer. "He's been nominated twice before and hasn't been at the awards. I don't think he'll be there this year," Robin said. In the past, Sean has told people he is "embarrassed" by the idea of receiving awards.

Oh well, at least photographers won't have to worry about their cameras becoming footballs.
