Edward Burns Rolls With The 'Thunder'

Edward Burns is getting his time travel shoes on for his latest project. He's been tapped to star in A Sound Of Thunder, a Ray Bradbury story that's been collecting dust for 50 years waiting for film technology to catch up.

Finally, the advent of digital filmmaking, makes lensing this ambitious story possible. The story is set in the future where time travel is a recreational activity. One of the biggest fads of this future is going on safaris and bagging prehistoric wildlife. The only stipulation is that the hunted beast must be one that is meant to die. When a butterfly is accidentally killed on one of these safaris, it sends a ripple through time that leads to human extinction. Now, Mr. Burns must lead the last group of humans back in time to save the critical butterfly.
