In this incredible three part documentary we look at the incredible diversity that South Africa has to offer. The Big Five focuses on the rulers of the animal kingdom: the lion, the rhinoceros, the elephant, the leopard and the African buffalo. We visited the Kings of the Savannah and the jungle, where we pursued the fascinating mysteries of the largest animals in the wild. In Safari, we are granted behind-the-scenes access to a park and find out what the opportunities - and the risks - of eco-tourism really are. Finally, in Western Cape, we explore South Africa's Cape region, documenting its unique flora and fauna, swimming with whales and sea lions, following penguins and — as a highlight — we meet the white sharks.
