Missing

In this dark and suspenseful miniseries, Helena Bergström (Under The Sun, Spring Tide, Annika Bengtzon: Deadline & Paradise) stars as Maja Silver, an inspector with the Stockholm police department who returns to her hometown in the Swedish Bible Belt in an attempt to reconnect with her estranged daughter, Becky (Molly Nutley, Thicker Than Water). The family reunion is interrupted by a terrible discovery as an emaciated girl is found dead on a highway. When another local girl disappears, Maja finds herself embroiled in an intense search for the truth. The investigation leads her to a Svengali-esque preacher (Johan Widerberg, A Man Called Ove, Spring Tide) who holds mysterious sway over his flock. Fear grips the entire town as the search for the missing girl intensifies, and it becomes clear that many in the community harbor their own secrets that they will go to great lengths to keep.
