He sails along the Antarctic Peninsula marveling at cathedral sized glaciers, icebergs and a dazzling array of wildlife. Following in the footsteps of explorers, adventurers, and conservationists, Zay ice climbs, kayaks, camps, and even plunges into the ice cold Antarctic waters. Along the way, he meets pre-eminent scientists like the British Antarctic Survey's Jonathan Shanklin, who discovered the hole in the ozone layer and American biologist and global warming expert Jim McClintock. His journey ends with a treacherous crossing of The Drake Passage to his final destination Cape Horn in Chile.
