Bull Crawford and his gunmen are terrorizing honest ranchers and John Sutton is fed up. He sends for his son, Dick, who returns home to clean up the outlaws. College-boy Dick turns out to be plenty tough, and disguised as "The Texas Terror" has the gang on the run. But Crawford manages to take Dick prisoner and steals the Sutton's map to a unclaimed gold strike. Dick must find a way to save his own life, if he is to rescue his family's fortune.

Colorado born Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson was an athletic cowboy who as "Buddy Roosevelt" performed his first movie stunts as early as 1916 in the William S. Hart classic Hell's Hinges. Roosevelt would star in 37 modestly budgeted westerns between 1924 and 1937, including this Superior Talking Pictures production. Over the course of a six-decade career, he appeared in, or performed stunts in, over 100 motion pictures including Stagecoach (1939), Abilene Town (1946) and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962).
