The story is based on the true inner workings of the police trying to infiltrate the corrupt coalition workers, the mob middle men setting up the back room deals, the unions organizing against impending layoffs and one man stuck in the middle, battling the mob and killer coalition bosses while trying to pursue his true mission in life.

An extremely hard-hitting, gritty, modern-day On the Waterfront, COALITION is a realistic depiction of how New York's lucrative construction business is systematically shaken down by minority, non-union labor and how both sides of the law are pitted against each other. The story is by Joseph Ariola, a longtime member of the Operating Engineers Union in NYC, who co-wrote the screenplay with retired New York City Detective Robert Cea.

Rated R for strong violence, pervasive language and brief drug use.

Released by Legacy Image/RLJ. See more credits.
